About The Boston Beanstalks Tall Club

This Meetup Group was started in January 2007 as an extension of the Boston Beanstalks Tall Club (BBTC), to promote awareness of the BBTC in the greater community. We are currently expanding our use of the Meetup Group to facilitate communication to all existing, past and prospective members, and any others having an interest in our Club.

This doesn't mean that they aren't involved in the Club, attending events etc. - they're just not early adopters of newer technology and/or kinda shy about posting their profiles publicly on the Internet...

The Boston Beanstalks Tall Club (BBTC) is a chapter of the Tall Clubs International (TCI) confederation. TCI includes more than 50 not-for-profit tall clubs based throughout the United States and Canada. Additional tall clubs exist in Europe and Australia for a total of almost 150 tall clubs internationally. Our 85+ members live, work and socialize in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

The club serves social as well as educational and advocacy purposes. It mainly presents an opportunity for tall folks to get together in order to establish friendships and share tall-related experiences and information. Comradeship is encouraged through social programs that promote a positive perspective on being tall and activities that are downright fun.

If you are a member of the Beanstalks you are also a member of Tall Clubs International (TCI). Double your fun by participating in both organizations activities.
